GWAR Frontman Interviewed At U.K.'s BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR
September 16, 2010Peter Bailey of the "Metalheadz" radio show conducted an interview with GWAR frontman Oderus Urungus at this year's edition of the Bloodstock Open Air festival, which was held August 13-15, 2010 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, United Kingdom. You can now watch the chat below.
Metal Blade Records has set a November 9 U.S. release date for GWAR's "newest and sickest" album yet, "Bloody Pit of Horror".
Commented Oderus Urungus: "This year sees no end to the torment, and delight, we shall heap upon you ungrateful slobs. Our new album has got some of the heaviest shit we have ever played, and our show is packed with brand-new, never-seen-before acts of violence, bestiality, and political in-correctness. I don't want to spoil anything... wait, yes I do! We are chopping Sarah Palin's tits off and feeding them to Gor-Gor, if he will have them!"
"Bloody Pit of Horror" is reportedly "heavy as fuck", and features songs like "Hail to Genocide", "Storm is Coming", and "Tick-Tits", the latter of which is "a song about a chick whose tits are covered in ticks…big fat gray puffy ones," said Oderus.
Fresh off the amazing experience that was the 2010 GWAR-B-Q, intergalactic snuff-rockers GWAR continue their relentless assault upon all humanity with the announcement of their first run of dates for this fall's "Bloody Tour of Horror".
Catch GWAR on the "Bloody Tour Of Horror" with THE CASUALTIES, INFERNAEON and MOBILE DEATHCAMP starrting on October 2 in Baltimore, Maryland.
